He was a member of the funk band Tower of Power playing tenor sax for 5 years during the 1980s. His solo career took off when he remade the Percy Sledge classic "When a Man Loves a Woman". Other well-known songs include “People Make the World Go Round”, “Inner City Blues", “In the Groove", “Mystique”, "Crush", “Work All Night”, "Chill Factor", "Corner Pocket", "Sly", as well as remake of song "I'm Not in Love" and the L. Vandross hits "Here and Now" and "Your Secret Love." Elliot was known for his zebra-striped tenor saxophone. In 2011, he switched from "LA SAX" Saxes to "Dakota" Saxophones, which the owner Peter LaPlaca sold "LA" for "Dakota". In 2005, Elliot joined trumpeter Rick Braun, as they co-founded their own label, ARTizen Music Group (now known as Artistry Music). Elliot participated with Paul Taylor, Gerald Albright and Jeff Lorber in the "Grooving for Grover" concert series. The series honored the legacy of the late Grover Washington, who was a founding father of smooth jazz. ------ Enjoy!!! ------- Здесь вы можете слушать онлайн mp3 бесплатно и без регистрации.
