The Spin (1989) is the 7th studio album from the jazz group Yellowjackets, and final release for the MCA label. The album was nominated for "Best Jazz Fusion Performance" Grammy Award. The album, recorded in Oslo, Norway, demonstrates a more acoustic sound than the band's previous efforts, relying less on the use of synthesizers.
