=) I was a middle school teacher before retirement.  One day I had students at the board working problems. 
One of the young ladies was an exceptional student who happened to be a blonde.  For some reason I told her
that she was using a piece of left handed chalk.  Without turning around or saying anything she put the chalk
in the tray, picked up another piece of chalk, and continued with her problem.=)

 
=) First Grade True Story
One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class. She came to the
part of the story where the first pig was trying to accumulate the building materials for his home. She read,
"...And so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full of straw and said, "Pardon me sir, but may I
have some of that straw to build my house?'" The teacher paused then asked the class, "And what do you think
that man said?" One little boy raised his hand and said, "I think he said 'Holy %$#@! A talking pig!'" The teacher
was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes. =)

=) The children had all been photographed, and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. "Just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer; she's a lawyer,' or 'That's Michael, he's a doctor.'" A small voice at the back of the room rang out, "And there's the teacher; ...she's dead." =)
