Я уже выкладывала эт в др. сообществах...вот и до этого доберуся!

В конце февраля появился слух о том, что ведутся переговоры с Linkin Park по поводу их выступления в Питере (в Москве всё довольно туманно, очень много людей и очень много разрозненной иноформации; так что пока будем опираться на Питер). Концертное агентство NCA (с которым мы сотрудничали весной прошлого года перед концертом группы) в свой юбилейный год хочет организовать ряд громких концертов.

Планировалось, что Linkin Park снова дадут концерт в Питере в рамках фестиваля зелёного пива, но, к сожалению, LP отказались. Сейчас рассматривается возможность выступления группы не в рамках фестиваля, а просто единичным концертом. Что из этого получится - увидим. Будем держать руку на пульсе.

Linkin Park — (читается как Линкин Парк) — nu-metal группа из Лос-Анджелеса, штат Калифорния. Один из наиболее популярных представителей альтернативной сцены, Linkin Park продали более 24 миллионов копий только первого своего альбома Hybrid Theory, на сегоднешний день продано около 60 миллионов пластинок во всем мире и трижды получена премия «Грэмми». Музыка группы представляет собой смесь хип-хопа, рока и электронных сэмплов. Как тексты, так и вокал имеют ярко выраженную эмоциональную окраску.

Группа была основана тремя одноклассниками: Майком Шинодой, Бредом Делсоном и Робом Бурдоном, изначально под названием Xero, а затем Hybrid Theory, под которым выпустила одноимённый мини-альбом. В качестве вокалиста группа пригласила Марка Вэйкфилда, но тот вскоре покинул группу, не сумевшую найти себе студию и звукозаписывающую компанию. Новым вокалистом стал аризонец Честер Беннингтон, давший музыкантам прослушать запись своих вокальных партий по телефону. Честер же придумал группе новое название, происходящее от Lincoln Park (парк им. Линкольна) в городе Санта-Моника.
В 1999 группе удалось добиться контракта с Warner Bros. Records. На следующий год группа выпустила дебютный альбом Hybrid Theory, содержавший материал, копившийся много лет. Альбом стал весьма успешным, было продано 4 млн 800 тыс. копий за первый год и получил премию «Грэмми» как лучший рок-альбом года. Песни с альбома — Crawling, One Step Closer и In the End имели успех в хит-парадах, а клип In the End, транслировавшийся по MTV, получил награду как лучший видеоклип года.
В 2001 году группа провела тур по Америке, неоднократно выступая с известными реперами, а также приняла участие в фестивале Ozzfest. В общей сложности группа провела триста двадцать концертов, и выпустила DVD Frat Party at the Pankake Festival. Также Linkin Park записали альбом ремиксов Reanimation.
В 2003 году вышел второй альбом группы под названием Meteora, возглавивший чарт Billboard по продажам альбомов. Видеоклипы на песни Somewhere I Belong, Breaking the Habit и Numb транслировались по MTV и занимали первые места в хит-парадах. Альбом получил ряд наград: премию MTV за лучшее видео (Somewhere I Belong) и Radio Music Awards за лучшую песню (Numb). На песни Numb, Faint, Lying from You и One Step Closer были записаны ремиксы с участием репера Jay-Z. После выпуска этого альбома группа стала одной из самых популярных в мире. Однако успех первого альбома не был превзойдён, несмотря на положительные рецензии критиков.
15 мая 2007 года вышел альбом Minutes to Midnight, на котором группа отошла от прежнего стиля нью-метала и рэпкора и приблизилась по звучанию к поп-року и альтернативному року. Значительно уменьшилось число речитативных вставок, упала «тяжесть» музыки, которая стала мелодичнее. Критики сравнивали новый альбом с работами U2. [источник?] Поклонники группы восприняли альбом неоднозначно, оценки разнились от восторженных до крайне негативных. Сам Честер Беннингтон в интервью сказал, что на альбоме «Meteora» группа была вынуждена следовать давлению фанатов, копируя стиль дебютного «Hybrid Theory», но сейчас, с новым звучанием, Linkin Park «чувствует себя комфортно».
5 июня 2007 года состоялся концерт в Санкт-Петербурге, а 6 июня 2007 в Москве состоялся концерт группы в Олимпийском. В качестве разогревающей группы выступила рок-группа Jane Air. 1 ноября 2007 года в Мюнхене (Германия) группа была удостоена премии MTV European Music Awards в номинации «Лучшая группа».

 Пиратские альбомыТакже существуют пиратские альбомы, выпущенные якобы группой Linkin Park.
Одним из них является альбом Under Attack (B-Sides). Половина песен этого альбома принадлежит действительно группе Linkin Park: песни были собраны из таких альбомов, как Hybrid Theory и Meteora. Некоторые песни этого альбома исполняются группой Grey Daze, в которой раньше пел Честер Беннингтон. Также в Under Attack содержатся творения таких групп, как (hed) P.E. и Spiritfall. Пиратский CD Under Attack (B-Sides) можно встретить в 2 вариантах: 19 и 20 трековую (в 19-трековой нет трека с названием Under Attack). Также можно встретить так называемый «Under Attack (B-sides), Rarities and Unreleased» с теми же песнями, но на двух компакт-дисках. Иногда встречается Under Attack (B-Sides) с перепутанными названиями песен.
К пиратским альбомам также относится альбом Erection, выпущенный в 2003 году якобы группой Linkin Park. Первые 12 песен этого альбома исполняются не группой Linkin Park, а шведской группой Tribal Ink, последние 13 треков исполняют Linkin Park, однако здесь нет ничего нового: пираты просто скопировали треки с альбома Meteora. Дело в том, что у группы Tribal Ink есть альбом Surrounded By Freaks, пираты сделали на основе этого альбома альбом Erection, в качестве названия группы указали BK & Madam Friction, оригинальные названия песен были изменены на такие, как Erection, Khuy, Penis Envy (очевидно, чтобы диск лучше продавался). А через некоторое время после этого вышел пиратский альбом Linkin Park — Erection, созданный на основе пиратского альбома BK & Madam Friction — Erection, который, в свою очередь, был создан на основе оригинального альбома Surrounded By Freaks группы Tribal Ink (одним словом, «пиратка» на основе «пиратки»). Поэтому очень часто на многих сайтах можно найти информацию о том, что якобы песни в Linkin Park — Erection исполняет некая группа BK & Madam Friction. Но на самом деле это Tribal Ink.
Помимо этих 2 альбомов есть ещё множество других подделок: пиратский LPUnderground CD версии 2,5, а также немного «расширенный» песнями из альбома Collision Course LPUnderground 4.0; пиратская версия альбома Meteora, в которую было добавлено ещё 11 треков; пиратская версия Collision Of Course, в которой насчитывается 18 треков, вместо 6; CD Live In Texas с пиратским дополнением в 5 треков и изменённой обложкой; LPUunderground 3.0 Limited Edition Fan Club; CD Kabuoki Theatre.

• На многих сайтах можно найти демо-версию Points Of Authority - Vertical Limit. На самом деле это просто Points Of Authority с несколько изменённым текстом. К фильму Vertical Limit песня не имеет никакого отношения. Эта версия Points Of Authority была саунд-треком к фильму Little Nicky.
• Существует мнение, что песню Giving In исполняет группа Linkin Park совместно с группой Adema. Однако на самом деле Linkin Park не имеют к этой песне никакого отношения.

26 июля 2009 г на Стадионе "Телебашня" в Санкт-Петербурге в рамках одного из самых масштабных музыкальных фестивалей страны TUBORG GREENFEST выступит культовая группа далекой Америки Linkin Park. Концерт пройдет в рамках мирового тура "Road To Revolution".
