Shekeb Hamdard (Persian: شكیب همدرد), born as Ahmad Shekeb, is a well-known singer of Afghanistan. He is of ethnic Hazara and currently continues his music career from Canada.
He contested among 1000 singers in the Afghan Idol competition where he showed his talent and won the first place. Tolo TV with financial support of Roshan held the competition and they have arranged the winner with his first album free. Shakib became famous for his song Gul Dana Dana. Shekeb has credited Amir Jan Sabori for helping him with the songs compisition and greatly respects Amir Jan Sabori and has said that Sabori is the best musician in Afghanistan at the moment.

Mozhdah Jamalzadah, known as Mozhdah, is an Afghan singer, model born in Kabul, Afghanistan (December 7, 1985). Her father is from Herat, and mother from Kabul. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. She has completed a program in Broadcast Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is studying Philosophy and Political Science at the University of British Columbia.
Mozhdah has modeled for Fashion week, Cosmopolitan, and Asian Woman Magazine. She emerged as a singer in 2007 and has been on several tours. Mozhdah's first album is to be released early 2009.

Khalid Kayhan is a Afghan musician. He was born to an artistic family in Kabul. From a young age, he was present in rehearsals of the Kayhan band, and here became familiar with highs and lows of the songs and melodies. He would memorize them and play them later on. He entered the Kabul Music School where he started to learn about music under the watchful eyes of experienced music teachers.
He began to learn piano professionally based on international notes. In the Music School he was on of the most distinguished students and caught the attention of the well respected musicians of Afghanistan and Iran. Prior coming to Germany at a very young age he became a talented keyboard player. He was playing with the Kayhans and several other popular bands in Afghanistan. He still continues this work at present Since 1992 he has been living in Germany. He continues to attend music lessons. He has been enhancing his knowledge of professional music and he is acquiring the international notes. After graduating from high school, he has entered the School of Audio Engineering in Hamburg.
He has become a central figure of the stage when he tours with many famous singers from Afghanistan in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. He had the responsibility of organizing and directing of albums for many famous singers as well as many young new musicians. His work has become very popular worldwide among many music lovers of Afghanistan. He recorded his first songs "Aiy yar and Baran Baran" in the " Story" album.

Valy was born in Mashhad, Iran[1] on May 29, 1986. His father is originally from Herat, Afghanistan, and his mother is of both Afghan and Iranian descent. When Valy was still young, his family left Iran and moved to Heidelberg, Germany where he spent his childhood.[1] He was interested in music from his early years, and as both his parents were musicians as well, they taught him early on.[1] In addition to his parents, various artists from Afghanistan and Iran also contributed to his upbringing as a singer. This was also the first time that he came in contact with Avang Music, an Iranian-American record label. One singer who taught and influenced Valy was the late Nasrat Parsa. As he was educated by these various musicians, he not only learned many different styles of music, but also became more aware of his of his identity, culture and heritage.
By 2006, Valy became well-known as a singer, and by 2007, he released his first album, After Love. He appeared in numerous television interviews and his fanbase grew. Following the release of his first album, he went on his first tour (December 21, 2007 – January 5, 2008), in which he visited Canada and the United States.[2] His second tour, which started on May 11, 2008, included visits to various European countries,[3] Australia, the U.S., and nations in Asia. His latest song, Setareh (Sitara), is a mix of Persian and Pashto.

Arash Howaida (born in 1980 in Afghanistan - Kohistan district) is one of the modern Hip Hop and Pop artists and composers from Afghanistan. Arash currently resides in Hamburg, Germany and is the son of popular Afghan artist Zahir Howaida.
Known for his hit songs "Laila" (in Dari, German and Arabic)[1] and "Allah Allah", Arash is best known for his ability to successfully introduce and combine hip hop and dance beats into music. His compositions and music is influence from western musics. Beside songs in Dari, he has also sang songs in Arabic and Hindi.

Tawab Arash (born 1976)is a singer from Afghanistan. He was born in Herat and is the nephew of the acclaimed composer and singer Amir Jan Sabori. He is the younger brother of the famous Afghan film actor Nemat Arash.
In 1994, after he moved to Russia, he started to sing and learn keyboard with the encouragement and guidance of his brothers, and in due course with an Indian teacher. Shortly afterward Arash began to perform professionally. In 1996, he moved to Sweden and his first two concerts took place in Stockholm with Mirwais Hamra.

Farhad Darya was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, to a Pashtun family from Kunduz. Farhad's blood lineage can be traced to the Nasher Khans. Darya attended Sher Khan High School in Kunduz, which was named after his grandfather. He started his first band by the name of Nayestan, meaning Reed-bed. He later graduated from Habibia High School.[citation needed] After high school he enrolled in the Polytechnical University of Kabul and then subsequently in Kabul University. It was while attending Kabul University that Darya founded his first professional band, Goroh-e-Baran, meaning Rain Band. Initially it was to be called Halqahai Tilayee (Golden Rings) but the newcomers later settled on the former title.[citation needed] The band itself was not largely successful, due in part to its non-traditional music; however, it did acquaint the public with the faces of the member singers: Darya, Asad Badie, Mukhtar Majid and Jawid Rahie.[citation needed] Still involved in his music career, Darya continued his studies in college. During this time, he wrote music for other artists under the pseudonym Abr (Cloud). In 1988, Darya became a professor at the university and taught Western classical music for a year before leaving for Europe.[citation needed]
After traveling through Prague and Hamburg, Darya arrived in Paris, where he would meet Sultana Emam. The two were married in 1993, and moved to the United States in 1995, where they still live in the state of Virginia.[citation needed] In 1996, they had a son, Hejran
